Reviews:
By becoming PRO you have the option of sending 3 invitations to former bookers to write a review about you. The reviews are very important because with the reviews you are getting higher in the Gigstarter ranking. When you get a call through Gigstarter the reviews can be a decisive factor for the booker to book you. To send these invitations, log into your account, go to dashboard and click on Request review.
Another tip on getting more reviews is to send the confirmations to those Bookers who HAVE NOT booked you through Gigstarter. When sending a confirmation through Gigstarter, the day after the gig an email is send to the booker with a request to write an evaluation about you. This way you will accumulate reviews and improve the ranking on Gigstarter, you will appear in higher search results and you will get more offer requests. Do not forget to send confirmations to those bookers who HAVE booked you through Gigstarter. It is very important that the bookers accept the confirmation before the gig because otherwise they will not receive the invitation to write an evaluation. Widget:
When you have your own website, add the Gigstarter widget. By adding this button we will put a link to your web page on your Gigstarter profile. This will make both pages go up in the Google ranking. For more information and how to place this button click here
In the media:
If you have appeared in the media, for example a newspaper has written an article about you or if you have had an interview on the radio you can add it to the section 'In the media'. To fill in this section, log into your account. Go to the Dashboard, click on Profile and then on In the Media.
Agenda:
Add all your Gigs that are open to the public to your agenda. When adding them do not forget to click on 'Public event that should be published in the Gigstarter agenda? (PRO feature)'. That way the gig will not only appear on your profile but also on the Gigstarter agenda on the home page. To fill in this section, log into your account. Go to the Dashboard, click on Profile and then on Agenda.
Tags
It is very important that you add tags to your profile. The tags are used as search criteria. These are terms that will help the booker to find you easier. To fill in this section, log into your account. Go to the Dashboard, click on Profile and then on Edit Profile.
Calls:
If you are available click on the button Available and always respond with a message in the chat to the call. The booker will receive an email with the notification that you have answered. If the booker does not answer, call him. The bookers number appears above the call when the booker is interested in being called. If you have not reached to an agreement or you are not available, click on the Not available button. When you get an interesting request but the budget is too low always contact the booker to negotiate.
If you have reached an agreement click on the button draft confirmation to make it a verified gig.
Fill in the form and click on Send offer.
This confirmation must be accepted by the booker if not accepted it won't be a verified booking. If the booker does not accept the confirmation he won't get an email to write a review. Once the booker has accepted the confirmation you'll receive an email. Besides the email you can find the accepted confirmation in your dashboard in the tab Gigs. The accepted confirmation should look similar to the picture below.
