This holiday period has been one to remember for many of our artists. While in some countries restrictions were kept tight limiting artists from playing live, in others, there was a calmer sense of normality. No matter what situation our artists have found themselves in this year, many of them have managed to stay creative. In this article, we will go through some of the amazing activities that our artists were up to during the holidays.
Staying creative
The music industry took another hit this Christmas, especially in the Netherlands where heavy restrictions were introduced that once again stopped live events from happening. Nevertheless, this did not stop our artists from staying creative and finding innovative ways to share their music with their audience. This year’s Artist of the Year, Julie Huard, put on an incredible show for her fans on Christmas day. We were able to enjoy an hour-long live stream concert on her YouTube channel to celebrate the holidays. Once again, her soulful voice and original music blew us all away as she did during our Livestream of Artist and DJ Of The Year 2021.

On the 2nd of January, Pamela graced our ears with a new single called ‘Pa Quien Lo Busca’. Truly an exceptional release that covers the topic of love in her mothertounge - Spanish. If you want to hear this song live, don’t forget that you can book Pamela on her profile for shows this year. Similarly to Pamela, a band hailing from Germany also released a single during the holidays. PRO band, Womuka, celebrated New Year’s Eve with their latest release! The single titled ‘Ohne Dich Bin’ can be streamed on all streaming platforms or you can watch the music video on their YouTube channel.

It hasn’t been all doom and gloom over here. During the Christmas and New Year period we saw some of our artists play some fun live shows. In Italy, our PRO artist Carlo Calderano played a solo guitar show during an enchanting New Years Eve dinner at the Hotel Borgo Antico. Imagine spending your New Years Eve accompanied by the elegant sound of a Spanish guitar?
In Belgium, one of our artists Jonas van Esch performed at Optreden Winterwandelingen Openluchtmuseum Bokrijk, a Belgian Christmas Market. It's so nice to see that for some this Christmas was able to include live music which really makes the holidays extra special.
