Der Regensburger Scotty Bullock ist seit 1983 als Sänger und Gitarrist im Dienste des Rock & Roll unterwegs. Er tourte u.a. mit der US-amerikanischen Band “Swing Rays” sieben Monate kreuz und quer durch 14 Staaten der USA wo er mit Musikern wie Ronnie Dawson, Wayne Hancock, Junior Brown, Hillbilly Hellcats, Lee Rocker, Sonny Burgess, Bobby Helms, Lisa Pankratz, etc. zusammentraf.
Nach seiner Rückkehr aus den Staaten gründete er 1999 “Scotty Bullock and the Stampeders” und veröffentlichte sogleich auf “Cherokee-Records” das Album “Dusty Roads” auf dem ein Großteil der Songs Eigenkompositionen sind. Die Scheibe wurde zu einem überragenden Erfolg. Beim holländischen Rock`n Roll- Magazin „Boppin`Around“ z.B. landete das von Scotty geschriebene „Rockin`and Ramblin`“ auf Platz eins der internen Magzin Top- Five und die CD „Dusty Roads“ kam in den Album Top-Five für das Jahr 1999 auf Platz 3.
Während der Jahrtausendwende gründete Scotty schließlich „The Sunny Bottom Boys“ mit und brachte mit dieser ebenfalls sehr erfolgreichen Band die Alben „Keep on the sunny Side“ (2007) sowie „Sweet Child o`mine“ (2012) heraus.
Bereits 2003 bekam er mit den sonnigen Jungs den internationalen Pullman City Country-Award verliehen. Es folgten später einige Fernsehauftritte in der ARD und dem ZDF sowie zwei erste Plätze beim Deutschen Rock & Pop Preis in Wiesbaden in den Kategorien „Bestes Musikvideo“ und „Beste Rock`n Roll/Rockabilly-Band“. Scotty war mit dieser Gruppe 15 Jahre lang auf unzähligen Festivals und Konzerten in Deutschland, der Schweiz, Osterreich, Italien und Spanien zu Gast.
Zu seinem 30-jährigem Bühnenjubiläum stieg er mit einer brandneuen Formation namens „Scotty Bullock Trio“ auf die Bretter um mit hochprozentigem „Bluesbilly-Rythm`n Surf-Beat“ wieder voll durchzustarten. Die Rythm-Section besteht aus Harry W. Fontana (Bad Griesbach) an den Drums sowie Felix Wenz (Aschaffenburg) am Pro & Kontrabass. Die beiden Vollblutmusiker sorgen für garantiert druckvollen Groove und harmonischen Background Vocals in dem flotten Dreier.
