Onkel Toms Hüte stehen seit Anfang 2011 gemeinsam auf den Bühnen in und um Heidelberg. Vom ersten Akkord ihrer Konzerte an zeigen die fünf Jungs, dass sie genau dort hingehören. Rapper Benno überträgt die Energie durch seine lebhafte Performance wie von selbst auf das Publikum – unterstützt von der Rhythmussektion Niko (Schlagzeug) und Gerrit (Bass), sowie von Till an der E-Gitarre und Tommy an der Akustikgitarre oder Trompete. Ihren Stil haben die vier Heidelberger zwischen Rock, Hip Hop, Ska und Reggae gefunden. Unabhängig vom Stil ist den Musikern jedoch am wichtigsten, dem Publikum ein positives Gefühl zu vermitteln. Das schlägt sich natürlich auch in ihrem Motto nieder: „Denk Positiv!“ Immer dabei sind einfallsreiche Texte mit Witz und Gefühl und Ohrwurmpotential. Das Ergebnis ist ein tanzendes, singendes und feierndes Publikum.
