Mirjana singt über Dinge, die verletzend nah, direkt und ehrlich sind. Dabei bleibt sie konsequent und sich selbst treu. Kritik bewegt sie ebenso wie Lob. Angst hat sie nicht. Auch wenn die Geschichten ihrer Songs oft autobiographisch und damit spürbar authentisch sind, geben sie ihr Kraft und Mut.
Ihre Texte verfasst sie mit Liebe zum Detail, auf der Bühne ist sie oft selbst zu Tränen gerührt. Trotz ihrer nicht kommerziellen Musik zieht sie live die Zuhörer in ihren Bann. Ob allein am Klavier oder mit akustischer Besetzung zusammen mit Ihrem musikalischen und freundschaftlichen Begleiter Thomas lebt sie jeden Ton mit jeder Faser ihres Herzens.
Sie sagt heute: „Ich würde alles genau so wieder tun. Der Weg war steiniger als ich es erahnt hatte. Er hat einige Tränen gekostet, aber vor allem Selbstzweifel. Ich war nie perfekt in dem was ich tat und das Talent allein hat nicht gereicht. Handwerklich war ich ganz am Anfang und die Musikwelt hat nicht auf mich gewartet. Doch mittlerweile bin ich menschlich und vor allem musikalisch an einem Punkt, der mich erfüllt.“
