I’m a South African born singer songwriter with over 20 years of entertainment experience. A former Oxfam ambassador for climate change, voice over artist and Play Your Part ambassador for Brand South Africa. I was born and raised in a small town of Welkom in the Free State province (SA) where I started as a singer and dancer. Subsequently became part of the huge hip hop movement in South Africa in the early 2000 alongside Hip Hop Pantsula (R.I.P).
In 2010 I released my first solo albums independently titled MAKING HISTORY which was then followed by the critically acclaimed sophomore album TRAVELINGMAN in 2014. This album opened doors for me to start traveling and performing around the world including USA (New York & Austin), Europe (Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Amersfort, Copenhagen, Berlin, Cannes, Hamburg, etc). My previous album went on to win Best African Adult Contemporary Album 2021 at the South African Music Awards. During lockdown I Colabo red with a few musicians from around the work through Beyond Music and our song TIKAWE won most creative song on the album.
My experience on stage has allowed me to share freely my talents with different audiences regardless of culture language or creed. Having been inspired by such greats and the late Lucky Dube, Mirriam Makeba, Jabu Khanyile, Busi Mhlongo it has always been important to me to put humanity first.
