Winston Wutu brengt Americana en wil met songs een verhaal vertellen. De naam van de band is het hoofdpersonage. Gevaar, moed, ontplooiing en hoop zijn de vertrekken in Winstons bezongen leven. Deze band kluistert iedereen aan zijn lippen. Zanger Mathias’ stem zit als gegoten in het timbre van weemoedige en naar genade snakkende westernfolk. Een band die durft in een genre dat door Josh Ritter, Fleet Foxes, Mumford en andere zonen van deze tijd maar niet wil begraven worden.
