Geboren am 24. September 1998 in Homburg, wurde Jan-Luca Ernst die Musik „in die Wiege gelegt“. Ein großes musikalisches Interesse, in einem sehr jungen Alter, wurde zu einer Liebe die bis heute anhält. Mit 9 Jahren begann er die Gitarre zu lernen und entwickelte seine Fähigkeiten immer weiter während seiner schulischen Zeit als Lead-Singer und Gitarrist der „Rockband“. 2015 gründete er erstmals die Fraktion „Jan-Luca Ernst & Band“, kurz: JLE-Band, welche zu einer regional gefeierten Band wuchs. 2019 erlangte er internationale Bekanntheit durch seine Teilnahme bei der Erfolgsshow „The Voice of Germany“, bei der er nach seiner Blind Audition in das Team von Nico Santos einzog. So konnte er sich auch als Solo-Künstler etablieren, der erstaunlich viele Facetten auf der Bühne zeigt.
