Hi! ik ben Marlo ofwel Marlito,

Van jongs af aan al veel met muziek bezig geweest, draaien en produceren. Toen het een tijd laten liggen en nu terug in de digitale wereld met plaatjes draaien en inmiddels ook weer begonnen met produceren.
De skills weer flink opgevijzeld en lijkt mij weleens leuk voor een leuk prijsje op een feestje te draaien!

Mijn roots liggen in de Early Hardcore (vroeger op vinyl). Maar ik draai eigenlijk vrijwel alles. Ben een groot liefhebber van Drum & Bass en dan vooral de Liquid variant. Verder groot fan van UK Hardcore ( happy hardcore uit de UK) wat weer heel goed te mixen is met Drum & Bass en eigenlijk ook Dubstep. Die stijlen zijn erg verwant geworden de laatste tijd door het label Monstercat en ik vind dat allemaal erg leuk om te draaien.

Maar ik kan net zo goed een latin setje draaien waar ik ook een aardige database van muziek aan heb. Daarin draai ik Moombahton, Soca, Salsa wat dan weer over gaat naar meer House zoals Major Lazer/DJ Snake/Yellow Claw en dan verder de wat commerciëlere platen.

Ik ben zelf 38, dus geboren in de 80s en opgegroeid in de 90s dus hou ook erg van 90s muziek. En dat gaat dan vanaf de Early House (Chicago, Turn Up The Bass, House Party, Techo Trance, Move The House) naar de Eurodance ( K.L.F., Snap, Culture Beat, 2 Bros. on the 4th Floor, Twenty 4 Seven, Captain Hollywood Project, Dj Bobo, Dr Alban etc.) en vervolgens de Nederlandse happy hardcore van de commerciële Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo platen naar de underground happy hardcore (wat dan weer de eerder genoemde Early Hardcore is)

Ik besteed veel aan het in elkaar zetten van sets, ben echt een tunesmatcher die dat zorgvuldig aanpakt. Draai niet echt van hak op de tak, start stop wegfaden zoals sommige DJ's vaak doen. Ben een echte mixer.
