Bio:

Joost Wander (Joost Mol, 1994) is een opkomend Nederlandstalige singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist en reggae-artiest. ''Funky Nederlandstalige pop van deze tijd met reggae invloeden en een grote dosis humor'', aldus Joost zelf. Hij omschrijft zijn muziek als een mix van Alain Clark, Doe Maar en Nielson.
Het kan zijn dat je hem al eens voorbij hebt horen komen in de ochtendshow van ex-3FM DJ Giel Beelen of dat je hem kent van zijn YouTube filmpjes voor GielsTalentenjacht. ''Niet alleen zij heeft het, maar ook jij hebt het", refereert Giel naar een van Wanders gelijknamige nummers 'Ze heeft het’.

Joost begon als gitarist op AMP (Albeda Muzikant/Producer) maar wist zich hier al gauw te ontwikkelen tot een creatief singer-songwriter en allround muzikant, door zijn talentvolle beheersing van meerdere instrumenten als piano, bas en drums. Onlangs speelde Joost Wander op festivals als Wantijpop en Rastaplas als leadgitarist en achtergrond zanger in de One World Band uit Rotterdam.

Hij is nu druk bezig met de opnames van zijn akoestische EP 'Akoesticiteit' die in juli uitkomt. Op deze EP laat Joost horen hoe hij er in zijn eentje ook een feest van maakt.

Joost staat 26 augustus in de finale van de Sena grote prijs van Rotterdam.
